Stitch Circle connects you with clothing alterations professionals across Australia. Whether you need a simple hem or a full garment rework, here’s how to find the right person.
For Customers
Step 1: Search
Type in your suburb or postcode, or browse by service type. Stitch Circle shows you alteration providers in your area, with their services, suburb, Google rating, and how many customers have recommended them.
Step 2: Choose
Browse provider profiles to find the right fit. See what services they offer, check their portfolio photos, read their Google rating, and see how many people have recommended them on Stitch Circle.
Step 3: Connect
Tap the “Book Now” button to go straight to the provider’s preferred contact method — whether that’s their phone, website, Facebook page, or booking system. You deal directly with the provider, no middleman.
Step 4: Recommend
Had a great experience? Come back and tap the “Recommend” button on their profile. It’s a simple thumbs up that helps other customers find great providers — and helps the provider get noticed.
For Providers
Step 1: Create Your Profile
Sign up and fill in your details: your business name, suburb, services you offer, languages you speak, working hours, and a short bio about you and your work. It takes about five minutes.
Step 2: Add Photos
Upload photos of your work — before and after shots, finished garments, your workspace. Customers love seeing what you can do. We even provide free Canva templates to help you create professional-looking images.
Step 3: Set Your Book Now Link
Choose how customers reach you. Your “Book Now” button can link to your phone number, website, Facebook page, email, or any booking system you already use. You decide.
Step 4: Go Live
Once your profile is complete, it’s live on Stitch Circle. Customers searching for alterations in your area will find you. You can update your profile, pause it if you’re on holiday, or change your details anytime.
Common Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Stitch Circle is funded by industry sponsors. Providers never pay to list, and customers never pay to search. No hidden fees, no commissions, no premium tiers.
Do you show pricing?
No. Every alteration job is different, and pricing depends on the garment, the work required, and the provider’s expertise. Pricing is a conversation between you and the provider.
Can I leave a bad review?
Stitch Circle uses a positive-only recommendation system. If you had a great experience, you can recommend the provider. If you didn’t, we’d encourage you to speak with the provider directly. Each provider’s Google rating is also shown on their profile.
I work from home — will my address be shown?
Never. Stitch Circle only shows your suburb or area — never a street address. Your privacy and safety come first.
